Thank You for taking part in Byte Night 2011

Thank you to everyone who has been involved in Byte Night 2011 as you have helped to raise an amazing £750,000 for Action for Children.

We are delighted to report that Byte Night 2011 has been the most successful Byte Night to date raising over £750,000 across the UK, which is over Â£180,000 more than at this time last year.

On Friday 7th October 2011 over 800 people from the IT and business community slept out in Cambridge, London, Scotland and Thames Valley to raise vital funds for Action for Children to help tackle the root causes of youth homelessness.

We would like to thank all our sleepers who braved the cold and sometimes wet conditions to sleep out and help to ensure our young people don't have to. We would also like to extend a special thanks to all of the companies who have generously supported Byte Night with sponsorship and pro-bono support. Thanks to your support Action for Children has helped thousands more young people to build better lives by providing essential support, accommodation, education and training.

Action for Children has made a commitment to be there for vulnerable children and young people for as long as it takes. Your support has and will continue to make a substantial impact on the lives of young people who desperately need help and support.
