2008 Event

On the evening of Friday 3rd October 2008, hundreds of individuals from the IT and technology sector will be exposed to the elements as they spend a night under the stars to raise vital sponsorship and awareness of youth homelessness.

Whether you're in Reading, Edinburgh or anywhere in between, you can join them and help make Byte Night 2008 the biggest success yet for the children and young people NCH supports.

Wherever you are you will receive the full support of a dedicated Byte Night team at NCH who will help you reach your sponsorship target and raise vital funds for the children NCH supports.

The main Byte Night event takes place in Potters Field near London Bridge on Friday 3 October. The event begins with a reception at Ernst & Young, followed by the sleep out in Potters Field, next door to Tower Bridge in Southwark. Participants or "sleepers" will raise £2,000 to take part as an individual or £5,000 as part of a team of between 3 and 5 sleepers.

Last year a total of 270 individuals slept out and this year we hope to break all previous records with 300 sleepers raising in excess of £500,000.
