Taking place for the second year in Scotland, Byte Night attracts senior IT and business executives. With the evening reception taking place at the Scottish Parliament, it really is a special event to come to. We hope that over 100 people will take part in Byte Night Scotland this year.

On the night

7pm | Arrival and registration, the Scottish Parliament

On arrival at the reception venue, you’ll enjoy a warm meal and get the opportunity to hear from some of the many young people you have helped to support. Over the course of the night there will be a number of opportunities to get to know your colleagues and fellow sleepers better, including some surprise entertainment.

10pm | Holyrood Park

At 10pm everyone will move out to Holyrood Park to a marquee where there will be a live auction and raffle of some very unique and possibly useful things for the night ahead! At midnight all sleepers are requested to vacate the marquee and go to the sleep out area. Hot drinks will be provided throughout the night under the cover of a small marquee and you’ll receive your essential ‘survival pack’ including hat, umbrella and survival bag.

Toilet facilities are provided and security will be patrolling the site to ensure your safety throughout.

6am | Breakfast

A hot breakfast will be served to warm you up before you begin your journey home.
