Join us at Byte Night, wherever you are!

Whether you are joining us at Byte Night this year or have friends, family or colleagues sleeping out, you can take part through our live message board!  Developed with the help of BT, the message boards will include photos taken on the night and will share the experience of sleepers at all five Byte Night events.

How it works

All Byte Night events will be displaying live message boards broadcasting messages from taking part as well as photos of their experience. We'd like as many people as possible to contribute, sharing personal thoughts and experiences which help raise awareness of the young people Action for Children support.

Not joining us at Byte Night?

You can still be a part of it!  Visit bytenight.osmosoft.com to see the message board and send your own tweets and messages of support!

How to…Twitter

  • Add the text “bytenight”  to your tweets – this will ensure your message is broadcast to sleepers across the UK
  • The display will also pick-up photographs posted to Twitter using the twitpic, yfrog and img.ly  Remember to tag your photos with "bytenight".
  • Byte Night also  has an official Twitter user @bytenight2009 which you may like follow to keep up with news and hear the results of the auction and fundraising on the night

How to… share your photos on the night

  • Post your photos  to Flickr tagging the images with "byte night"  -  and as if by magic your photos will be broadcast to sleepers, their friends and family across the globe!

How to… share your videos

Our official YouTube Channel includes videos made for, and favourited by, Action for Children. Videos uploaded to YouTube tagged with "bytenight" or including the text "byte night" and will also appear on the display.
