Byte Night Grows to 12 Locations

Byte Night began 19 years ago when Byte Night founder Ken Deeks decided to take action for young homeless people.  Ken got 30 of his friends and colleagues together and spent the night sleeping rough– collectively they raised £35,000 and now 21 years later the event takes place across the 4 home nations. In 2018 we will have 12 Byte Night locations with the exciting introduction of Yorkshire!

On Friday 5th October 2018, we will see Byte Night Yorkshire’s inaugural event take place in the City of Leeds, setting a target of having 150 sleepers to sleep out for the night, as well as a fundraising total of £75,000.

We are delighted to have such a strong leadership team to lead the event, having appointed Steve Rake, Regional Director at Harvey Nash and Jo Graham, Technology Director at Morrisons as Co-Chairs of the board.  We were also delighted to recently announce the appointment of Craig Ambler, Director at C.A. CIO Limited and Dan Sims, Managing Director at Software Cloud Limited who will take on the roles of Vice-Chairs.
